Celebration of Life Memorials

As humanists, we don’t rely on unknowns like heaven or a higher power to give us comfort when someone dies.  What helps us through this sad time is celebrating the great things about our loved ones and how their actions positively affected us and the world.  We talk about our wonderful memories and what the deceased shared with us during their life that we cherish and plan to pass on to future generations.

This process of celebration of life combined with accepting the finality of death, although sad, is healthy and provides a closure that allows the bereaved to move on while keeping the deceased in their hearts and lives forever.

Joshua gets to know the family so that he can talk about their loved one with knowledge and compassion.  He guides a service that is personally meaningful to the family and friends, helping them speak and remember with respect for the thoughts, beliefs and emotions of all involved.
